My client is looking for a Data Engineer with extensive cloud experience in either Google Cloud, AWS or MS Azure. As part of the Data and Analytics team you will be working on leading-edge cloud data transformation and optimisation projects for Global Brands.You will be designing cloud enterprise solutions architecture and building big data solutions for clients by implementing structured, semi-structured and unstructured data on low latency platforms. You will work to solve complex business problems with the use of Big Data, Auto-ML, ML and visualisation technologies. Responsibilities:Experience in designing data storage, movement and orchestration solutionsDesign and execute modern data environments on cloud platformsContribute to architectural solutions for structured data technologiesCommunicate complicated database concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills and Experience:Database, data warehousing and big data e.g. BigQuery, Oracle, Redshift, Teradata, HadoopStrong communications skillsStrong analytical and design skills of data pipelines in large enterprise settingsData warehouse solutions experience both on-premise & public cloudStrong cloud platform experienceExtensive SQL knowledge and hands on experienceExperience of Data sets maintenance, cleansing and data curationExperience in either Tableau, Looker, Periscope or DataStudioKnowledge of Python, Go, Node.js, JavaContainerisation using Docker/Kubernetes would be advantageousHadoop Spark clusters This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that will give you access and exposure to some of the biggest brands, biggest projects and most up to date technology technology.
