DevOps Engineer (Jenkins BigData CI/CD) Key partner to the financial services industry is seeking a skilled, ambitious DevOps Engineer to join their exceptional team and enhance their capabilities as they enter a DevOps-focused phase of growth.

The organisation's services have influenced a transitional shift within their sector as financial organisations around the world have recognised the potential of their innovative approach and have followed their path.

They are seeking a tech-driven DevOps Engineer to join them in a high-visibility role, where you will get involved in projects across the entire infrastructure, from networking, firewalls, external network routing, multiple data centres through to operating systems, data replication and application services.

In this DevOps Engineer role, not only will you play a key role in the maintenance of the software-related infrastructure; including provisioning, installing, configuring and other infrastructure-related tasks, you will support the DevOps initiative, driving the adoption of DevOps technologies and processes like containerisation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring and pipelines to leverage knowledge and take the DevOps operation to the next level.

*Please note: this company is able to conduct a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. You'll join London-based offices in due course with continued flexible work opportunities including 3-4 days a week working from home.*

Requirements:

You're degree educated in Computer Science or similar subject

You have good working knowledge of Linux OS

You have experience in scripting and automating day-to-day DevOps tasks

You have working knowledge of the following technologies: Kafka, BigData, Docker, Ansible and Python

You have experience working in a CI/CD environment

You have an automation-driven mindset

Cloud skills / experience is beneficial
