Immediate opening for an experienced Senior Embedded C/linux Engineer to join a small company working on some ground breaking products. I am looking for a bright, capable Embedded Engineer who is happy to take responsibility for projects often getting started with limited information or uncertainty and able to overcome obstacles that may arise. This role will suit someone who does not need hand holding, it could be an opportunity for someone who is very capable to show what they can do. Suitable Embedded Engineers for this role will have strong academics and at least 5yrs experience with strong Embedded C/C++ and linux development skills. Projects could be anything from bare-metal and low-level linux kernel drivers to user-space applications and HTML web-apps. You should relish a challenge and have a calm, positive attitude. Ideally you will have some experience of mentoring or team leading - this role could provide an opportunity to develop in this area. Technical expertise as follows:Embedded C/C++linux user-space or kernel development.Driver development (e.g. DMA, MIPI, I2C)Video and audio applicationsPython, shell or other scripting languagesThis is a superb exciting opportunity where you can really make an impact.
