Automation Engineer *Remote UK 6 month contract*

Automation Engineer / DevOps (Python CI/CD) *Remote UK 6 month contract*. Global FinTech operating in over 60 global markets is seeking a technologist with experience of writing automation scripts in Python.

As an Automation Engineer you will focus on writing automation scripts in Python to create CI/CD pipelines for production trading systems written in C++, Python and Node.js, acting as the conduit between software engineering and DevOps teams.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home (within the UK) for the 6 month term of the contract; there is the likelihood of extensions or a permanent position following this.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar Automation / DevOps Engineer role

You have advanced Python scripting ability (ideally coding); will also consider PowerShell

You have a good working knowledge of Linux and / or Windows OS

You're collaborative with good communication skills
