Their Derby site is the groups Research and Development hub with over 80% of the workforce dedicated to developing and improving new technology. They are on the cusp of launching a brand-new, market-disrupting product and are looking to add an Embedded Software Engineer to the team to help them get it over the line.In this role you will review test requirements, implement automated test cases in scripting languages, and execute tests to identify issues with both hardware and software. Following the results of these tests you will review designs and project planning to eliminate them in the future. You will work closely with a variety of departments including Production, Product, Service, and the customers themselves.The ideal candidate will be a commercially experienced Embedded Software Tester, or a recent Computer Science Graduate, familiar with STLC methodology. *Reviewing, Implementing and Executing tests

*Working with both Hardware and Software

*Reviewing designs and planning to eliminate them in the future

*Working closely with Production, Product and Service TeamsThe Person:

*Commercially experienced Embedded Software Tester or a recent Computer Science Graduate

*Familiar with Scripting-Based Automated Testing

*Familiar with STLC methodology
