Python Developer (Data OOP Linux) *Remote Process* Pioneering start-up that has been built on world-class investment and technology expertise is seeking a stand out Python Developer to join their high-performing, close-knit team.

The company uses state-of-the-art modern analytic techniques to help build the next generation of private equity firms, harnessing data to understand what drives performance, to create returns for investors and drive growth for portfolio companies.

The organisation is growing quickly, and you'll be joining at an exciting time as they launch following a successful stealth mode.

As a Python Developer you'll support the cutting edge pre and post-acquisition platforms. Here, there is a deep appreciation of data and analytics in creating value for their clients and how they operate as an investment firm, and you'll be responsible for designing, developing, operating and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services as well as designing and developing tools, libraries and SDKs.

You'll work with a diverse, up-to-the-minute tech stack including Python, Kedro, FastAPI, Docker and more. Experience with any modern development language will be considered, along with good Python experience. You'll gain exposure to new technologies and will have plenty of opportunities to develop and refine your technical craft.

You'll join colleagues in London-based offices in due course, with continued flexible work opportunities (2 -3 days working from home per week)*

Requirements:

You're degree educated (2.1 or above) in Computer Science or related discipline

You have strong OO programming skills in Python (Python experience essential, other OO languages also considered)

You have experience working across the full software development lifecycle of RESTful/ RPC APIs and services

You're data-driven and have good working knowledge of databases like Postgres, MySQL

You have knowledge of/ interested in IaC tools like Terraform/ Ansible

You have experience developing for Linux-based systems on public cloud services, e.g. GCP; AWS
