Junior Quantitative Analyst St. Albans / WfH to £70k

Junior Quantitative Analyst / Developer (C# .Net SQL Mathematics). Would you like to progress your career in Quantitative finance technology?

As a Junior Quantitative Analyst you'll work directly with a front office trader to facilitate their daily trades on the sports betting side of the business; you'll develop and maintain various internal applications that are critical to trading performance and implement programs to improve efficiency and profitability. You'll be using C# and SQL and will be encouraged to develop your skills in other programming languages and technology with paid for training you'll be supported to reach your full potential.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures; when it is possible to get back to the office you'll be working in a collaborative team environment based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire (25 minutes from Kings Cross); parking also available (10 mins from M25).

Requirements:

You have achieved a 2.1 or above in a mathematical discipline, backed by strong A-level results in Science and Mathematics

You are familiar with and have an interest in quantitative finance and are keen to develop your career in this field

You can code with C# and SQL

You understand VaR risk model and its pros and cons

You're collaborative and pragmatic

You have an interest in world sports and are keen to work with sporting data / statistics
