Senior IT Solutions Lead / ArchitectHome based - some UK Travel requiredMain offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Hampshire£70,000 - £80,000+ Bonus & Car Experis IT are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Solutions Lead / Architect to join one of our key clients. They are a FTSE 250 company who provide public services on a global scale with 50,000 employees worldwide. They are going through an exciting time of change and looking for experience architects to help guide them though that period. In this role we will be looking for you to utilise your knowledge and experience to provide architectural guidance and design leadership to Technical Delivery teams and work with Technical Delivery Managers to understand the needs of the business and produce designs & solutions. You will liaise with business representatives, Divisional IT leads and IT Professionals to architect and design solutions for business operations and bids. You'll also guide the activities of Solution Design to ensure timely completion of Technical Delivery projects. You'll review the proposal of vendors and suppliers to ensure that quality inputs are deliverable, aligned to Sector Roadmaps and compliant with standard services.What you'll need to do the roleFirstly, you will need to be a tech 'all-rounder' as solutions are likely to include several applications and technologies. You'll need strong capabilities in Application, Data and Integration architecture and solution design. You'll need a thorough understanding of modern IT Infrastructure, security, applications and Cloud based technologies. Experience covering Government outsourced opportunities and practical experience of their business requirements. The Ability to identify technical issues and be able to design solutions to fix them and most importantly, you should be flexible in making plans and program decisions. Technical SkillStrong knowledge and experience designing complex architecture and solutions surrounding Infrastructure, Security and cloud.
