Senior Software Engineer London to £100k *Remote Interview WFH*

Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Java 11 Kotlin). Are you a technologist seeking a role where you can work on complex and challenging systems, taking a lead role whilst remaining hands-on, continually learning and progressing your career?

You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that's SaaS solutions are helping High Street banks to compete with the challenge from their online tech driven rivals; working on a modern Java / Kotlin based AWS microservices tech stack and driving Agile best practice.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will design and develop customer focused on-boarding and client reporting systems. You'll be focussed on coding multi-threaded core Java and Kotlin backend development within a modern development environment encompassing CI/CD, microservices and AWS.

As a senior member of the team you'll also evangelise best practice and set an example to more junior members of the team, help solve problems and have input into technical discussions and decision making.

There's a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable; when possible you'll join colleagues in the London office for 2-3 days a week.

Requirements:

You have indepth core Java development experience including multi-threading and Java 8 / 11

You have commercial Kotlin experience

You have a good knowledge of microservices and have SpringBoot experience

You have a good working knowledge of the following: Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, RESTful API

You have a strong Computer Science background including fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms

You believe in well tested code and have a TDD mindset

You're collaborative, keen to work on complex systems and contribute to the full software development lifecycle
