Software Engineer - Python and Django experience

Our client is an online e-commerce company providing services to consumers in the UK. The organisation is now looking to recruit a Software Engineer with both Python and Django experience

As a Software Engineer you will be an integral part of the team working with other team members and Product Managers to create specifications and deliver features. This will involve working closely with peers in the Marketing and Retail teams.

The project you will be working on will be mainly on improving the website to better meet customer's needs. There will be projects you will be involved in where you will enjoy experimenting with new tools and frameworks.

Key Technical requirements for the Software Engineer - Python andDjango role is: 1-2 years of Python and Django experienceStrong expertise with frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, javascript and typescript)Consuming rest APIs and other core Web technology conceptsA/B testing features and SEOGood knowledge of GitNice to have would be AWS and interest in DevOps, interest in Serverless. This position requires you to have both Python and Django experience, please do not apply if you do not have this experience.

The opportunity pays a salary in the region of £50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience and is based in London although initially you will be working remotely until London offices re-open post pandemic.
