Cloud Software/ Senior Software Engineer- Galway

Salary- Euro 65-95k Euro per annum plus bonus, pension, health-care

As new recruits you will be responsible for creating and supplying innovation to the market in a way which is customer driven, highly accountable and in a high trust environment.

This client architects their systems to be highly available, fault free and constantly distributed from the ground up. Constant investment occurs in their reliability improvement to support their scale and business criticality of their solutions and container applications. The critical areas of success in their solutions include operational automation, testing and performance improvement. Therefore the client is looking to expand the team with software developers to allow them to advance through not only the functionality of the platform but also ensuring they stay focuses on operational challenges in reliable solutions as their solutions evolve.

The responsibilities

Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to design, deploy and support probably the best software development processes & tools. You will give responsibilities such as developing tasks in module/micro-service design and coding, debugging and code base documentation along with proactively conducting systems programming and systems support activities. Therefore it is important that the entire team equally contribute to design, development and tests tasks to enable the software to meet the specified requirements for performance, scalability and reliability.

The requirement

In past employment you will ideally been involved in teams that have worked on building exciting SaaS and/or Paas products and enjoyed the satisfaction that comes with knowing that people globally are using something you were responsible for. This is why we are seeking a "DevOps enthusiast".

Further requirements include:

• Past experience in micro-services architecture and reactive architecture principles plus API first development practical experience would be an advantage.
• A strong level of experience in Java development in real time distributed computing environments, multi-threading and performance optimisation.
• Experience in Azure.
• Experience working on product that deploy as SaaS offers.
• Ideally you will possess experience beyond the usage of Docker and container management systems such as Kubernetes in production. Specially we are looking for developers who have both extended and improved these platforms.
