Hours: 37 hours per week

For the first time in 20 years property services, environmental services and building maintenance for Norwich are coming back under Council control through the set up and creation of our newly formed company, Norwich City Services Ltd (NCSL).
The implementation of digital services will be crucial to the success of this new venture so the Council is looking to recruit an experienced solutions architect to establish strategies and solutions to meet our Digital First approach and ambition, to design and deliver innovative digital solutions for our customer and partners and to drive cultural change within the organisation.
Supporting the Applications Support Team Manager and Head of Customers, IT and Digital in developing the business application strategy, you will establish a holistic view of all software projects and the business' software requirements. You will need proven project management ability with previous experience of delivering IT projects using Prince2 and Agile methodologies. Technological, digital, business and customer aspects all need to be taken into account, while working enthusiastically and collaboratively to identify, design and deliver solutions for NCSL, improving user experiences and saving money.
