Job Introduction

Our IT Department underpins the operations of Skipton BuildingSociety and allows us to utilise technology to better serve our customers.Implementing and maintaining critical IT capabilities for both Head Office andour nationwide Branch Network, we are looking for a Technical Business Analystto join our IT Change Delivery Team.

Main Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of SkiptonBuilding Society through the delivery of a variety of large-scale complexprojects using waterfall and agile methodologies, and the associated businesschange introduced from introducing new IT capability.

You will be responsible for:

- Deploying robust business analysis techniques to ensure business value in the work undertaken and ensure it aligns with the IT Strategy and company direction - Identifying, documenting and communicating the impacts of project-related technical change, from a people, process and IT perspective - Elicit and gather requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, business analysis and workflow analysis - Work closely with product owners and scrum teams to write user stories and prepare sprint backlogs and define acceptance criteria for the user stories/Epics - Work closely with Architecture and Solutions delivery team to align their designs with the project requirements/user stories - Documenting system requirements and process flows (as-is and to-be) - Serving as the conduit between internal/external customers and development teams through which requirements flow

Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will be skilled in formal business and technicalrequirements capture and have knowledge and experience of formal testingmethodologies and processes.

Experience and Skills Required:

- Must have previous experience in a Technical Business System and/or Business Analyst role - Confident in business analysis methodologies and principles - Proven track record of delivering changes through the full project and software-development lifecycle using agile and waterfall methodologies - Strong stakeholder management experience - An excellent communicator, with strong facilitation skills and the ability to interpret, analyse and share requirements across all levels of the organisation and with third parties where relevant - Ability to write and document process models, using Sequence diagrams including swim lanes in tools such as MS Visio
