Skipton Building Society has a great opportunity for a securityprofessional to join it's Information Security team. This role is dedicated tohelping the Society manage cyber risks to protect customer and colleagueinformation. This role is currently remote working due to Covid-19.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be joining a team that is responsible for line 1b securityactivities which includes the delivery of a defined work programme thatsupports our cyber strategy, as well as supporting the delivery of change. Thisrole is key to supporting the implementation and enhancement of a comprehensiveinformation security framework and the work will provide challenge as well asopportunities for you to develop and grow with us.

The scope of work covered by our Information Securityteam includes:

- Security testing and remediation - Vulnerability management - Threat intelligence monitoring - Security education and awareness - Security policy framework - Controls assurance, including PCI and Swift compliance - Third party security due diligence - Subject matter support for projects and change initiatives - Security support for subsidiaries

What You'll Bring

We're looking for people with security experience with strongcommunication skills. You will be comfortable at explaining technical conceptsthat can be understood by everyone and you adopt an approach that considersboth risk and reward. The successful candidate will hold or be studying for arelev ant degree or professional security qualification (such as CISM or CISSP).
