Job Description

Due to continued growth within DPD we are now looking to recruit an experienced Software Developer in to join our IT Department who are based in Oldbury (B69 4DA). 

As a Software Developer you'll enjoy a high profile role and be a key member of a dedicated team that underpins and supports business-wide change by transforming requirements into innovative IT solutions.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Collaborate with solution architects in conceptualising and developing software solutions

Building, deploying and maintaining our scalable products and services

Consistently write, translate, and code software according to specifications and standards

Qualifications

What we're looking for;

The ability to develop solutions primarily in Node and React

Be proficient in using git, github and contributing to pull requests

Knowledge of serverless solutions. Google Cloud Platform experience would be  advantageous

Ability to work with developers, architects and UX designers

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with key stakeholders and project managers.
