Service Designer

Remote working currently (location London)

6 Months initially

£500 - £550 per day

We have a great opportunity with a global leading organisation, a true market leader in the field. We have a requirement for a Service Designer on a successful program of work.

Key Responsibilities:

*Analyse failure within services and identify root causes for that failure.

*Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvement within an existing service. *Understand user needs and identify where separate interactions with government should act as one service that meet that need.

*Arrange these separate interactions into rational user journeys within that service Look for commonalities in activities across services where products could be made.

*Understand the existing supporting system of a service and design targeted improvements to that system to accommodate the new service - both digital and process based.

*Create and rapidly iterate service prototypes.

*Identify and design new cross government service patterns and standards.

Key Skills & Experience required:

*Understanding user needs and creating user journeys.

*Identifying where separate interactions should act as one service and design rational user journeys within that service.

*Identifying root causes for that failure, and creating designs or recommendations to address that failure developing future service propositions.

*Plan user research and usability testing, observing sessions, and helping to analyse the results of user research identifying opportunities for cost reduction and improvement within an existing service understanding the existing support system for a service - both digital and process based.

*Designing targeted improvements to existing services or to accommodate new services mapping current service journeys and creating blueprints for improved and/or new services creating and rapidly iterating service prototypes.

This is an urgent requirement on a long term program of work.
