Job Title:Conversational UX Analyst

Inside IR35

Department/Practice:Retail

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

Should have good analytical skills. Should understand and decipher information and trends from data. Should have a researcher’s mindset. Who embraces the ‘getting things done’ motto and is capable of defining use cases using mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) in a short period of time (aligned with project deliveries)

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

* Gather Requirements

* Develop high-level user stories, with detailed storyboards, mockups, conversational flow diagrams and prototypes to effectively communicate business requirements to development team.

* Create detailed conversational flow design specifications in collaboration with Business and Development teams.

* Evaluate usability and consistency of existing dialog flows and recommend design changes.

* Create guidelines, reference artifacts, and resources for developers to assist in conversational design

* Develop and advocate conversational user interface design best practices and guidelines to ensure a consistent brand-experience for users in the enterprise

* Work with engagement leadership, project managers, conversational AI architects, developers, UX designers, product managers and fellow consultants to strategise, design and deliver enterprise conversational AI solutions.


Key Skills/Knowledge:

* BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Business Analysis, UX Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 5+ years of experience in business analysis, designing web or voice applications.

* Experience in designing conversation-enabled interaction flows across a variety of usability contexts and device types.

* Experience with qualitative usability testing and functional product testing

* Experience in persona designing/writing.

* Experience in designing and tuning directed dialog and natural language speech grammars.

* Technical knowledge of the mechanics of speaking and writing.

* A self-driven person that gets things done and sees tasks through to completion

Experience working with a multi discipline team (Product Management, Design, QA, Operations, and Developers)

Experience required:

* BA/BS degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Business Analysis, UX Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 5+ years of experience in business analysis, and experience of designing web or voice based conversational applications

Duration of the Assignment:4 months (Extendable)


Special working conditions (travel, on call etc):

Currently Work from home. Work location will be  in Central London once Covid-19 situation is mitigated


Person Specification:

I.e. Negotiating, client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/team member skills, supportive.

Should be able to work in teams. Should collaborate and be able to work in DevOps model. Should have good communication skills

Client facing conversational analyst role working in a Scrum team, delivering their strategic CHATBOT solution
