They offer cloud solutions including VMware, Veeam Cloud Connect and Zerto. Using their platforms across multiple Data Centres, they give their end clients absolute confidence in the stability and support that they offer. Customer support and engagement is at that the heart of what they do.
Due to continued success, they looking for a Technical Support Consultant to join their team based in Burwell, Cambridgeshire. The successful applicant will have a good understanding in cloud-based services and remote IT services.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Provide high-level customer care and build relationships with customers
- Take support requests (1st, 2nd) and log them in the CRM system
- Expanding the internal and customer facing knowledge base system
- Troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues from all escalations
- Liaising with 3rd party software vendors
Required skills
- ITIL understanding
- Support of Windows 7-10 environments and Office 365 , Active Directory
- Support and use of VMware vCenter and ESXi
- Support and use of Veeam Software
- A proven record of IT support at a first level
- Able to listen and understand the client
- Self-motivation, the ability to work effectively both alone and within teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Desired Skills:
- Software rollouts & project management
- Sophos Suite Experience
- Microsoft Azure and AWS Experience
- Network Troubleshooting (Hardware & Topology, TCP/IP)
