oEnterprise grade ETL/ELT data pipelines

oData manipulation/wrangling techniques

oData engineering best practices (DS, unit testing, version control, code review)

oBig Data Eco-Systems, Cloudera/Hortonworks, AWS EMR, GCP DataProc or GCP Cloud Data Fusion

oNoSQL Databases, Dynamo DB/Neo4j/Elastic, Google Cloud Datastore

oBigQuery and Data Studio/Looker

oSnowflake Data Warehouse/Platform

oStreaming technologies and processing engines (Kinesis, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Spark)

oCI/CD technologies (Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker, GCP Cloud Build, Ansible)

oContainerisation, Docker, Kubernetes

oBuilding and deploying to cloud (AWS, Google Cloud) including Cloud provisioning tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Cloud Deployment Manager)

oStrong interpersonal skills, working with stakeholders' requirements.

Important: Candidates applying for this position must be eligible for SC Clearance. This role is currently fully remote working and candidates can be based anywhere in the UK. Post-COVID you will need to be happy to travel where required on occasions within the UK. We expect reasonable flexibility for home working post-COVID.

This position would be suitable for those who have held the following titles: AWS Data Engineer, AWS Data Architect, GCP Data Engineer, GCP Data Architect, Data Analytics, Data Science.
