Head of Climate Risk/ Head of Research - Up to £65,000 - an exciting opportunity for growthA start-up Eco/financial services client of mine who are on a journey to lower carbon-emissions by providing relevant information to companies within the financial sector are actively looking for a Head of Climate Risk to join them on their evolving journey.This company has already seen a large amount of success and they are looking for the right individual to add to their growing ventures.The role responsibilities:Analyse and organize GHG emissions data as collected by the Data Collection team.Review and update inference data methodology on an annual basis.Manage the team responsible for developing climate risk analytics and research related to climate analytics and advisory business.Review methodology and update analytics around climate scenario analysis and portfolio alignment.Review methodology and develop analytics around PCAF implementation and carbon foot-printing for different asset classes.Review methodology and update analytics around SBTi temperature metric models.Keep abreast of latest developments in climate science and sustainable finance and incorporate them into products and services.Develop product offering related to forward looking analytics for climate risk and opportunities.Please see some of the technical requirements below:Strong understanding of climate transition riskIn depth understanding of climate scenario models like the IPCC, IEA, NGFS models.
