As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Cyber Technology Subject Matter Expert to join the IT Risk, Security & Control department which covers cyber security strategy maintenance and tactical planning and operations to provide IT Security protection, governance, risk management and reporting.
The Cybersecurity Technical SME is responsible for design and implementation of large, strategic and complex cybersecurity technology products. The role will also be expected to provide expert and authoritative advice to architecture and development teams to ensure solutions comply with relevant policies, reference models, regulations, and best practices.
Key duties
Interpret cybersecurity relevant regulatory and other requirements or best practices and translate these to business aligned cybersecurity requirements.
Architect, design and implement cyber technology products.
Deliver technical solutions across the cyber security platform.
Providing recommendations on security best practises for cross portfolio projects
Manage and work independently or as part of a team in delivering complex projects.
Experience needed:
Security architecture, review and design
Implementation of cyber products in large complex environments.
Implementing cloud security architecture.
Carry out IT Security review (technical) of new products/solutions.
Demonstrable proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies and embedded security; at the minimum knowledge must cover key cybersecurity domains such as Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management
Strong working knowledge of technology - servers, database and network devices.
