Job Title - Hosted Telecoms (UC) Field EngineerLocation - Bredbury based, however the role is currently fully remote due to the ongoing pandemic
Salary - £23000 - £26000 plus car or car allowance
Hours of work - Full Time Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm

Active Business Communications is a well-established and respected provider of business IT and Telecoms services with ambitious growth plans. Were looking for an experienced field engineer to support the rollout of hosted telephony solutions to our growing customer base
Principle Responsibilities
Youll be responsible for…
* Providing technical guidance during the pre-sales process
* Conducting site surveys to establish physical requirements
* Installing, configuring and testing new hosted telephony solutions
* Conducting post installation training with end users
* Providing and maintaining all technical documentation
* Providing 2nd/3rd line support of hosted and onsite telephony issues for existing customers
Qualifications and Experience
If youre right for us, youll bring…
* B2B customer service through onsite engineering
* Previous VoiP, SIP Fixed Line (WLR) experience
* A proven working knowledge of IT networks including TCP/IP, DNS and SIP protocols
* Sound understanding of network technologies and principles e.g. VLAN, VPNs, Firewalls
* Familiar with the implementation of QOS and ability to Debug VOIP packet traces.
* Full, clean, UK driving licence with own vehicle
