Here's the perfect chance to combine your software engineering skills with your drive to develop cutting-edge technology. A role that will enable you to grow your career while you make a real difference to the way we drive digital innovation at Shell.
Where you fit in
As a Systematic Trading Developer, you will be working as part of a highly experienced and growing systematic and quantitative trading team, whose remit spans across multiple asset classes, exchanges, and trading hubs around the world. The team is central to Shell Trading's digitalisation and electronic trading ambitions and in some markets handles upwards of 90% of global execution. The team is also responsible for developing, back-testing, and managing quantitative investment and optimised execution strategies.
What's the role?
In this role, you will be working closely with other front office developers in the team, traders, and quants and be responsible for building and scaling our core systematic trading platform across multiple exchanges, markets, and regions.
You will also analyse complex business and technical problems and make informed technical decisions. Furthermore, you will need to provide timely trading system support and monitoring, as required.
What we need from you?
We're keen to hear from individuals who have proven experience in modern C++ development, version 11 or higher. Beyond that, we'd hope to see as many of the following as possible on your CV:
