ROLE: Senior Software Test Engineer
SALARY: £55-70K per Annum
LOCATION: Hampshire / Remote
START DATE: ASAP
THE ROLE:
An established Electronics company based in the Hampshire area are in urgent need of a Senior Software Test Engineer to join their team.
You will be responsible for hands on Test Automation, V&V, Testing requirements, helping lead the strategy (having a good knowledge of best tools to use on the market), Writing tests, Qualifying tools, AI driven testing, data driven and continuous improvement.Someone who has a Safety-Critical background is ideal.
KEY SKILLS:Embedded & Digital experienceTest Automation (some manual)Driving tool sets, ideally not writing custom codeTest tools & frameworks, writing interest. Not low level unit testingVerification and Validation of the codeHands on, Writing software tests/test requirements. Lead/subject matter expertExperience of new tools. Qualify tools fit for purpose. High level testsComply with regulations & standards, experience in a regulated environmentTechnical authority - clean strategy, data driven testing, continuous integrationAI driven testingScripting languages mainly Python, also C++, C#, Java script (utilise to integrate)Well defined requirementsQualificationsDesirable:Dev Ops tool chainAzureRange of commercial productsOpen and collaborative Interviews to take place ASAP.
