Support Engineer Cambridge to £70k

Support Engineer (3^rd Line Linux TCP/IP). Would you like to be challenged, working on complex systems whilst progressing your career and continually learning at one of the world's most advanced cybersecurity technology companies?

As a Support Engineer you'll handle escalations from the Helpdesk Support Team and pro-actively seek ways to enhance the platform, providing stability, pipeline automation and low level debugging. You'll collaborate with the DevOps team and the wider software engineering team.

You'll join a highly intelligent and motivated team working on a wide variety of projects with a diverse toolset and will have the opportunity to run your own projects and work autonomously on new ideas whilst being mentored and supported to reach your full potential.

Requirements:

You have strong commercial experience of supporting Linux systems

You're able to script to automate solutions to common problems (e.g. bash, Python)

You have a good understanding of basic networking protocols e.g. TCP/IP, OSI model

You're familiar with configuration management tools

You're collaborative with good communication skills

You're degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in a STEM subject
