Technical Architect Leeds to £90k

Technical Architect (Security IAM). Would you like to take ownership and remain hands-on with technology in senior security focussed Technical Architect role that will enable you to make a real impact and progress your career, working on complex systems?

You could joining a fast growing FinTech solutions provider whose SaaS banking applications are helping to disrupt UK consumer banking and bring technology enabled change that benefits people's everyday lives.

As a Technical Architect you will lead Security Architecture initiatives as part of a cross functional, autonomous team. You'll provide technical leadership and facilitate communication between software engineers, product owners and SMEs to reach common goals and represent Security in architecture and engineering forums.

You will remain hands-on, designing security solutions across a large complex environment with demanding functional and non-functional requirements across web, mobile and cloud security. The core platform is built with Java within a microservices architecture deployed to AWS; there's a range of challenges and complex real world problems to solve within a collaborative technology led environment.

There's a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable; when possible you'll join colleagues in the Leeds office for 1-2 days a week.

Requirements:

You're a Technical Architect / Security Architect with experience of providing technical leadership within a software engineering environment

You've designed security solutions using sound architecture principles across a large and complex environments with demanding functional and non-functional requirements

You have a broad range of knowledge across web, mobile and cloud security (AWS preferred)

You have a good understanding of Identity and Access Management systems (IAM) and API security

You have a good working knowledge of modern development environments, IaC and DevOps tools such as Kubernetes

You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills
