Python Developer London to £100k *Remote Interview WFH*

Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer. Are you an inquisitive, data centric Python Developer looking to progress your career working on complex and challenging systems, collaborating with peers to solve problems and contributing to architectural decisions?

As a Python Developer you will prototype and develop new features, analytics and enhancements to the core trading platform with a focus on improving backend infrastructures, optimising platform performance and ensuring scalability. You'll get to see your work go live rapidly from idea to prototype to build and release, collaborate with other senior engineers to make the technical choices and provide technical leadership to more junior team members, allowing you to make a real impact and progress your career.

Requirements:

Advanced Python development skills including backend development experience

Logical mindset with a passion for problem solving

Collaborative, keen to learn and share knowledge with others

Familiar with SQLAlchemy and Data Modelling techniques

Software stack includes Java, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Docker, AWS - experience with any of these advantageous

Experience working on finance / trading systems would be advantageous but not necessary

Degree educated, 2.1 or above gained in Computer Science or similar technical / scientific / numerate discipline
