Software Developer London to £100k *Remote Interview WFH*

Software Developer / Engineer (Java Agile TDD BDD XP CI/CD). Are you a senior technologist seeking a role where you can work with and influence a modern Java based AWS microservices tech stack and drive Agile best practice?

You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that's SaaS solutions are helping High Street banks to compete with the challenge from their online tech driven rivals, working on challenging systems and progressing your career.

As a Software Developer will be a senior member of a cross functional Agile product team responsible for the core banking technology platform. You'll collaborate to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility, assisting with Architecture and Design of new and current systems and driving Agile best practice. You'll help to provide mentoring and technical leadership via Pair Programming and code reviews within an Agile, XP environment with CI/CD.

The platform is built with Java on AWS with delivery based on LESS (Large Scale Scrum), every new feature is backed by automated test suites to run in the CI pipeline encompassing unit, component and integration tests (BDD using Cucumber). You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technology and will continually learn along the way.

There's currently a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime for the foreseeable; when possible you'll join colleagues in the London office for 1-2 days a week.

Requirements:

You have strong modern core Java design and development skills including Spring, ideally SpringBoot

You're an advocate of Agile practices, such as TDD / BDD and high quality, clean code; XP, Pair Programming and LESS

You have experience with high volume processing and real-time distributed systems

You have a good knowledge of cloud based microservices (AWS preferred)

You have experience with some / all of the following: Kafka, Hadoop, Spark (or other data streaming); SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger; CI tools, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins; Cucumber

You're collaborative with good communication skills; keen to learn and discuss ideas
