Our Client is urgently looking for a TV Technical Solution Specialist

Location: Home Based/London

Contract in the scope of IR35

Experience:

*Preferred - degree qualification (engineering/science) or equivalent experience and qualifications (i.e. HND).

*Mandatory - Qualified to be and possibly member of a professional engineering/science institution and working towards chartered engineer accreditation.

*Mandatory - Relevant professional experience or qualifications for Juniper, Cisco, Adva and Nevion including navigation of CLI

*Preferred - Ability to identify network security threats, exploitation and prevention.

*Mandatory - Proven competence in implementing and overseeing change.

*Preferred - Experience to identify cost savings

*Preferred - Advocating and applying technology where it has not been used previously

*Mandatory - Worked alongside colleagues/led team through a period of intense stress and pressure

*Preferred - Handled office politics/disagreements whist maintaining personal integrity

*Preferred - Experience in estimating costs/timing predictions for projects

*Mandatory - Developed an internal network of strong working relationships you can call on to assist with your role

*Preferred - Tackled process/policy obstacles to delivery

*Mandatory - Delivered results when the deliverables were unclear

Capabilities:

Accountabilities

*Design, configure, implement, commission and test end to end Services across all M&B Platforms.

*Stage, build, test and install equipment on all M&B Platforms, producing and keeping up-to-date Service and Site diagrams.

*Design, deliver and support network management solutions to support in-life maintenance and troubleshooting of services across all M&B Platforms.

*Creates and owns technical solutions for a domain, cross domain or portfolio of work within a specific technology area and delivers work autonomously.

*Leads on design assurance before integrating into end to end solutions

*Delivers and implements discrete technical solutions, including scoping, testing, delivery to live, on time and budget autonomously.

*Promote working relationships and communicates with a range of project stakeholders (both internal and external) across teams to ensure actions completed, progress updated and impacts on other components managed.

*Monitors technical solutions to ensure alignment between business need and scope of delivery, managing any changes raised during the project and manages interdependencies that arise during delivery.

*Liaises with customers, suppliers and peers to update on progress and resolve issues, managing impacts on components integral to delivery of scope.

*Identifies improvements to process and service to improve delivery of benefits for customers.

*Provides technical expertise to ensure solution integrity and quality of third-party inputs.
