A leading company in the area of leading edge ultra-low power wireless technology has a very exciting and extremely unique new opportunity for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join a new team based in Swindon, UK. Swindon has been one of the main Semiconductor hubs in the UK for many years now and is growing! Joining a dynamic and vibrant team focused on innovation, the Analog IC Design Engineer will work closely with Analog IC Designers and Hardware teams to ensure high quality implementation and verification of Analog designs. Masters or PhD degree qualified the Analog IC Design Engineer will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Analog IC Design and associated tools (e.g. Cadence - Virtuoso and Spectre). You will be able to work well either independently or as part of a team and will hold excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with a passion for Analog IC Design. Desired skills include; Analog IP design experience in CMOS (specification, schematic, simulation, layout, dft), an understanding of power management systems for battery operated electronics and a basic understanding of Buck/Boost converters and LDOs.
