This leading developer of industrial wireless power transfer systems is urgently seeking a Software Engineer - Power Electronics to be based at their R+D Centre in South Western Germany. The Software Engineer - Power Electronics will be responsible for developing low level software in C and C++ for emerging clean energy E-Mobility and Wireless Power Transfer applications. Working as part of a team the Software Engineer - Power Electronics will be working with modern industrial IoT (Industry 4.0) applications to build intelligent embedded solutions for emerging power electronic technologies. Having completed your studies in a technical subject you will have gained experience developing embedded software for wireless power transfer or power electronic applications. You will have developed software at embedded, firmware and hardware interface level and have experience including embedded development under Linux and RTOS using C and / or C++. Preferably you will have some exposure to Matlab, Simulink, BUS Systems (CAN, Ethernet etc.), Intelligent IoT and developing for E-Mobility products within the automotive industry. Any exposure to wireless power transfer or bi-directional connectivity would be a bonus. Fluent English is essential. German language skills would be very beneficial.
