A Senior Embedded Software Lead is urgently sought by this leading wireless communications developer to be based at their R+D Centre in Utrecht. The Senior Embedded Software Lead will be working very closely with customer development teams responsible for product development, SDK implementation, debugging and leading a small team of Embedded Software Engineers.  The Senior Embedded Software Lead must be able to put the customer’s needs first, looking for solutions to customer problems is the highest priority. The software is developed at embedded and bare metal level and the Senior Embedded Software Lead will be writing software in C and C++ under Linux, RTOS and at SoC and bare metal level. You will have a real customer-first mentality including a successful track record of building technical relationships with customer development teams. Your hands-on technical skills will include experience developing embedded real time software under Linux and RTOS in C and C++ for the consumer electronics markets. You should have extensive exposure working at SoC / Bare Metal level and any knowledge of low power wireless communications would be a benefit. You should also have experience of leading teams of Software Engineers and you need to speak and write fluent English. This position is a real mix of hands-on development, team leading and customer interaction.
