They draw on extensive experience and knowledge in large scale multivendor environments to deliver high quality projects and solutions that satisfy their customers and importantly the end user.Job Purpose:The BTS Field Engineer Site Surveyor is responsible for surveying and completing planning design packsThe BTS role is a field-based role working with the Field Teams to commission and install.The Electricians will be responsible for the installation and testing of electrical installations on the mobile phone network infrastructure to BS7671 and customer specifications.Key Responsibilities:BTS Field Engineer Site Surveyor main activities but not limited to:As a Wireless Field Engineer/site surveyor you will be involved in site surveys, prestart meetings, PIV's etc. on the mobile networkInstallation, commissioning and integration experience for swap, upgrade and new 2G, 3G ,4G and 5G technologiesNokia Flexi/Airscale BTS knowledge and experience desirableNokia pre reqs mandatory to enable SEP accreditationYou will be required to work with 3rd party Rigging, Build and Civils companiesBTS Engineer's main activities but not limited to:Complete installation and commissioning on BTS installations as per specific project(s)Perform all duties safely and to industry best practiceEnsure all HOP reports are submitted to the required standards and timescalesReceive and check issued link paperwork from the officeMaintain company issued vehicles and equipment with respect and to a high standardReport all issues with issued vehicle and equipment in a timely mannerIdentify any training requirements where relevantComplete project reports/paperwork and upload within agreed project SLASupport Project Manager with project deliveryElectrician's activities but not limited to:Complete installation, testing and commissioning duties on electrical systems as per specific project(s)Perform all duties safely and to industry best practiceEnsure all electrical works are carried out as per BS7671 and relevant design criteriaEnsure all testing is completed as per BS7671 and company/project standardsEnsure all project reports/paperwork are completed correctly and uploaded within agreed project timescalesReceive and check issued installation designs and paperwork from the officeMaintain any company issued equipment with respect and to a high standardReport all issues with issued equipment in a timely mannerIdentify and maintain any professional training requirements where relevantSupport Project Manager with project deliveryUnderstand and Adhere to company policies and proceduresAssist Project Engineer with project delivery when requiredKey Requirements:BTS Field Engineer Site Surveyor will need:Excellent communications skills, including both written and spoken EnglishThoroughness and attention to detail essentialHold a current UK recognised driving licenceWilling to work on nationwide activities throughout the UKBTS Engineers will need:SEP Level 1 and/or Level 2Emergency First Aid at WorkAsbestos AwarenessManual HandlingRF/EMF AwarenessElectricians will need:Lvl 3 Pts 1&2 Electrical Installation 18th Edition of BS 7671 Electrical Requirements RF Awareness Rooftop AccessManual HandlingAsbestos AwarenessAC/DC Power AwarenessFirst Aid at Work2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)Experience in the Telecoms sector (desirable)Please click the APPLY button to send your CV and Covering Letter for this role.Candidates with experience of; Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Engineer, Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Technician, Service Engineer, Field Based Engineer, Telecom Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrician, Installation Engineer, BTS Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Multiskilled Engineer, Field Service Technician, Site Maintenance Engineer may also be considered for this role.
