Backend Web Developer London to £75k

Backend Web Developer / Engineer (Python AWS Restful API Flask) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex Video on Demand streaming technology on a modern tech stack whilst continually learning and progressing your career?

You could be joining a successful software house. As a Backend Web Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements on the core product that provides TV streaming VOD products / applications to a range of broadcasters and media providers worldwide.

You'll be developing high performance API centric applications within a microservices architecture, working with the latest technologies with a focus on backend development. As a senior member of the team you'll be commercially aware and communicate estimates / timeframes to senior stakeholders and make improvements to the overall engineering processes.

Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with 1-2 days a week WFH going forward, when you are in the office you'll be based in a fashionable area of London with plenty going on, cool modern offices with casual dress code and the latest kit.

Requirements:

You have backend Python development experience

You're experienced with developing REST APIs as part of a microservice architecture and have a good knowledge of AWS

You have experience with ElasticSearch and databases such as NoSQL, Graph, RDBMS

You understand how to write performant applications that scale using Design Patterns and Data Structures

You have a good working knowledge of Flask / Django

You're collaborative with good communication skills, keen to share ideas and innovate, comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
