Backend Web Developer Cambridge to £75k

Backend Web Developer / Software Engineer (Python Django Flask Linux) *Remote Interview WfH*. The core product is a highly complex, super-fast debugging tool sold into a broad client base including large technology companies, banks and finance organisations.

As a Backend Web Developer you will develop and maintain web based applications that enable the product to be purchased online, delivered to customers and monitored in the field; you'll typically be working on a mix of new product development and maintaining code on existing Python web based applications.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process and the ability to work from home, post-covid social distancing you'd be expected in the Cambridge office at least once a week (more often if desired); parking available.

Requirements:

You have strong Python development experience including Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, Celery, SQLAlchemy

You have a good working knowledge of Linux OS

You have a good understanding of PaaS (Platform as a Service) infrastructure e.g. Heroku / Dokku

You have experience with code reviews (git / GitHub)

You have experience of maintaining availability and security of external web services

You're a collaborative communicator, keen to learn and share ideas

As a Backend Web Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £75k) plus benefits.
