Head of IT Development
£100,000 - £125,000 per annum

The main purpose of this role is to lead the digital technology transformation in Europe, Eurasia and Africa; while embedding a responsive digital development capability with top technical talent, steeped in Agile and InsureTech expertise.

Candidates must have significant digital technology expertise and demonstratable experience of new technology delivery that enabled a frictionless customer experience and identifiable revenue growth. Ideal candidate has also delivered solutions through API integration with brand partners to the market.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead the Digital development delivery for EMEA. Be seen as a key enabler to business strategy and innovation by driving the adoption of New Digital technology capabilities, Automation and DevOps to enable increasing partner integration and speed to market.
* Work with sponsors
* Leading the development of digital solutions on the cloud platform
* Work with business, architecture and security teams to design and deliver complex solutions utilising cloud platforms from Microsoft Azure, as well as development technologies such as microservices, restful APIs, C#, Angular, Javascript, HTML5 etc.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

* Awareness of Azure architecture capabilities and broad knowledge of development languages
* Certified Scrum Master and awareness of Lean/Six Sigma
* Awareness of DevOps and software development tools

Required Technical Knowledge:

* C#, Node.JS, AngularJS/Angular2
* Cloud development - Azure/AWS
* Web service/API development - RESTful JSON and XML, HTML5, Bootstrap
