IT Security Officer - up to 30K (10 months fixed term contract)

Are you an IT Security Officer, who has strong analytical skills and can initiate new ideas to address security requirements? Please apply!

Elite MSP, who acts as a technology partner to clients all over the UK and USA, is looking for an IT Security Officer to work on their client's site, based in Preston. You will be responsible for supporting the IT Security manager to perform the following tasks:

*Transitioning agreed security controls into BAU

*Monitoring and managing the security controls that are in place and providing the information that the audit function requires

*Internal Audit Support

*Investigating and management of security incidents including interaction with Compliance and DPO for data breaches

Skills / Environment (not all essential)

*Proven experience as an IT Security Officer or similar role

*Good technical background and understanding of security procedures and technologies

*Any security qualifications such as Security+, 27001, CISMP or relevant degree

As the successful IT Security Officer, you will administer Information Security Software and Controls, including analysing Security System Logs, Security Tools, and Data.

You should possess strong organisation skills and can prioritise, plan and multitask work assignment.

Salary: up to 30K fixed term contract

Benefits: 20 days holiday pro rata
