Mechanical Engineer: Kingston upon Hull £DoE + BenefitsAre you a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Site Engineer / Mechanical Plant Engineer/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical Engineering experience on COMAH / High Regulation process sites?Do you have Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Maintenance experience on Rotating Equipment within a COMAH environment (or similar)?Do you want to work for a fast-growing and innovative company who are heavily investing in their technology for scale-up and growth?If so, then please see below….Mechanical Engineer: Kingston upon Hull £DoE + BenefitsHuxley Engineering and a European Industrial Production Innovator are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer for their new Manufacturing Site in Kingston Upon Hull, to support significant investment to increase both production capacity & capability in the UK, Europe & USA.Reporting into the Engineering Maintenance Manager, the primary focus' of the Mechanical Engineer role is to:Provide Mechanical Engineering expertise and assist with the development of the maintenance management system, implement system process and procedures to facilitate its execution.Provide support with maintenance and operations improvement projects necessary to achieve business objectives with regards to SHE, Quality, Availability and Reliability. Key Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer Role:Generate implement new Engineering Standards and ensure compliance with them to contain and minimise risks.Identify, design, and implement improvements within maintenance and operations to deliver SHE, Quality, Availability and cost targets.Provide technical Mechanical Engineering expertise to our maintenance and operational teams.Support and witness during, as necessary during mechanical completion walkdowns and system handovers through construction and commissioning.Integrate with the project Mechanical Engineer and Maintenance Technician to provide support to identify deficiencies with respect to national standards, project standards and industrial best practice.Support Maintenance Manager in establishing maintenance systems and strategy.Provide technical expertise during root cause analysis of equipment failures, availability and reliability studies to improve performance of the maintenance systems and plant production.Liaise with EPC and equipment suppliers during warranty periods.Develop maintenance routines in conjunction with equipment suppliers to support plant availability objectives.Provide first line hands on troubleshooting for equipment fault Skills, Experience & Competencies Required for Mechanical Engineer Role:HND/BSc or equivalent Mechanical Engineering.Ideally completed indentured Mechanical Apprenticeship.Minimum 5 years' experience in a working within the petrochemical environment.Experienced with control of work process with high hazard environments.Ideally completed process and plant engineering training in a previous role: Demonstrate knowledge with rotating equipmentDemonstrate knowledge working with WSEDemonstrate having worked with Management of Change systemHands-on troubleshootingFor the successful Mechanical Engineer, a competitive salary + benefits reflective of experience is on offer and this Mechanical Engineer position is commutable from Kingston Upon Hull, Hull, Beverley, Hessle, Brigg, Grimsby, Immingham, Cleethorpes, Goole, Gilberdyke, Barton-Upon-Humber, Hornsea, Bridlington, Driffield, Willerby, Market Weighton, Scunthorpe & Howden.
