Software Development Manager, Melksham, £60,000

We are offering an opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to join a growing SME company working on niche projects and making a difference in the UK. Ideally, you will have 1+ years' experience in a management role with some technical ability in C# ASP.NET and MVC to challenge your teams coding methods. This is a great opportunity to showcase your management skills, using your expertise to implement best practices, new strategy ideas and help the team grow further. As the chosen Development Manager you will be given full autonomy on how you manage your team whether you choose to be hands-on, hands-off or hybrid. The role is office based but there will be opportunities of more flexible working or part remote dependant on how the settling period goes (3-6months).

Role and responsibilities:

- Project road mapping- Manage a team of 6 developers- Design and implement new IT strategies

Skills required

- Strong management experience/ skills i.e. Management of a team(s) or project, designing or implementing new processes or ideas and/or meetings with Senior members of staff.- Good communication skills both written and verbal- Some technical ability in C#, ASP.NET, MVC
