IT Infrastructure Designer - £500 p/d + 14.3% uplift

As an approved, preferred partner to this well-established global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of an IT Infrastructure Designer to provide subject matter expertise and input into the technical design process for IT Infrastructure projects and the operational running of the IT estate.

-Experience of technical design process for IT Infrastructure solutions

-Windows Server OS (2000 - 2016)

-Unix / Linux OS (RHEL, AIX)

-VMware vSphere

-MS SQL Server and related products

-HP 3Par Storage Products

-Cisco Networking Products

-IT Security Controls

Role Overview

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of IT Infrastructure projects aligned to the infrastructure roadmaps, by providing technical designs for engineers and 3rd party suppliers.

You will configure, implement, and develop assigned technology platform builds, automation systems, scripting and MI, helping to identify issues before they impact the business, and ensure a resilient and secure IT Infrastructure. You will also provide technical input to the incident resolution process working with IT Operations to conduct root cause analysis and identify processes for improvement.

Daily rate: £500 p/d + 14.3% uplift (Umbrella PAYE)
