ECI Engineer: Kingston upon Hull £DoE + BenefitsAre you a Electrical Engineer / ECI Engineer / Controls Engineer / Electrical Controls Engineer with experience on COMAH / High Regulation site?Do you have Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Experience with a COMAH / Similar environment?Do you want to work for a fast-growing and innovative company who are heavily investing in their technology for scale-up and growth?If so, then please see below….ECI Engineer: Kingston upon Hull £DoE + BenefitsHuxley Engineering and a European Industrial Production Innovator are looking to recruit an ECI Engineer for their new Manufacturing Site in Kingston Upon Hull, to support significant investment to increase both production capacity & capability in the UK, Europe & USA.Reporting into the Engineering Maintenance Manager, the primary focus' of the ECI Engineer role is to:Develop the sites EC&I processes and procedures to ensure reliable site operations and legislative compliance, with focus on functional safety.Continuously assess and develop EC&I systems to ensure that the site meets legislative compliance requirements and delivers continuously improved site operational and reliability.Key Responsibilities of ECI Engineer Role: All of the site EC&I when it is operational.Take a lead in engineering and maintenance activitiesUndertake engineering work and hands-on work in the field EC&I engineering activitiesAchieve familiarity of control system down to modular level (Siemens S7-1500 / WinCC based)Assist with loop checking, documentation checking, plant commissioning and start-upLiaise with EPC and equipment suppliers during warranty periodLead effort to establish EC&I Maintenance Library & Documentation ArchiveSupport Maintenance Manager in establishing maintenance systemDevelop EC&I maintenance routines in conjunction with equipment suppliersProvide first-line hands-on troubleshootingSkills, Experience & Competencies Required for ECI Engineer Role:HND/BSc or equivalent Electrical, Control & Instrument Engineering.Ideally completed indentured Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Apprenticeship.Minimum 5 years' ECI Engineering experience within an COMAH / near COMAH environmentExperience with PLC Controls Systems down to a modular level (ideally Siemens S7 / WinCC)Experienced with work permit system, ideally holding an electrical Authorised Person roleIdeally completed process and plant engineering training in a previous role:In-depth knowledge/experience of ATEXPreferably CompEx certified, but shall demonstrate knowledge of principlesDemonstrate knowledge of Functional Safety (IEC 61508/61511 & SIL levels)Demonstrate having worked with Management of Change systemHands-on troubleshooting For the successful ECI Engineer, a competitive salary + benefits reflective of experience is on offer and this ECI Engineer position is commutable from Kingston Upon Hull, Hull, Beverley, Hessle, Brigg, Grimsby, Immingham, Cleethorpes, Goole, Gilberdyke, Barton-Upon-Humber, Hornsea, Bridlington, Driffield, Willerby, Market Weighton, Scunthorpe & Howden.
