They maintain an applications hosting service that continually expands as additional applications are introduced to the environment. You will join a collection of dedicated and highly skilled professionals who provide architectural vision, technical capabilities and subject matter expertise in support of the hosting platform infrastructure and the specialist application functionality and capabilities.As a Programme Manager, you will be accountable for the effective management of projects or functional activities within the program, their risks, issues, conflicts, resources and communications, ensuring delivery of the new capabilities and benefits.The nature of the programme requires flexibility and the ability to operate in an agile fashion if required. Your experienceLeadership - You will be expected to own the overall programme direction and vision in conjunction with the business unit and customer.Financials - You will ensure that the impact on the business area's Profit and Loss (P&L) due to programme activities within the scope of the program are clearly visible and fully approved by governance authority.Integrity - A good client relationship is crucial to the smooth running of any programme and is based primarily on trust. The successful candidate will able to form good relationships with the client, acting at all times in a professional way with honesty and integrity.Program Management - the successful candidate will be Prince 2 qualified and will have a good understanding of Programme Management principles including core capabilities such as planning and schedule management, risk/issue management, budget management and management reporting.Sector Experience - you will be experienced working within a secure environment such as Government or MoD, with examples of delivering successful programmes into this space. Any experience on Network / Infrastructure (or other technology) projects within this environment would be a distinct advantage.
