They are global technology company that provides hardware, software, cloud-based services and cognitive computing.Job Overview:The main responsibility of the Java developer is designing, developing, implementing, and providing support forplanned and existing software solutions. Immediate responsibility is to build a real-time regulatory reporting framework.Technology includes server side core java, Spring framework, Spring integration,Coherence Cache, Kafka, MQ, JMS, XML, XSLT, Linux OS, shell scripts. read-time data warehouse, data modeling,DB performance tuning, Sybase, MS SQL Server, DB store procedures etc.We are looking for someone who can come up to speed quickly on a wide variety of modules,and who has the ability to quickly identify solutions. Skills & Responsibilities:Java server side programming experience on Unix/Linux platform with multi-threading.Handle development tasks using the Java Spring and Spring integration framework.Provide technical expertise on data exposure and delivery requestsLiaises Linux SA, Infrastructure, Data Management, STP teams to ensure proper application configurations and hardware performance efficienciesEmploys industry standard best practices for integration patternsProvides level three support during normal business hours (24 X 6) when on callInvolved with the review and submission of all solution designsEstablishes regular code reviews tied to on-going component developmentCross train junior members of the global team to drive efficiency and performanceImplement tools and practices in order to foster a more collaborative work environment.Experience with real-time, front-office/back-office trading systemsStrong design skills and experience with common design patterns.Cache technology such as Coherence cacheFamiliar with services oriented architecture and design. Familiar with messaging protocols: Kafka, MQ, TIBCO EMS or equivalent. Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
