Civil Engineering Manager Andover £47,000 - £52,000 Basic + Pension + Private Health Care + Flexible Working Arrangements + Free Parking + Shopping Discounts + Benefits Work a unique civil engineering manager position for a government entity in a role with excellent autonomy, whilst managing exciting projects. Receive a great overall package working a role that you can make your own. You will be vital in managing and delivering large scale civil engineering projects. This government body are offering the opportunity for a civil engineering manager to be responsible for the management of local engineering and parking functions. This is a role with huge responsibility and you will act as the lead engineer for any technical issues. Excellent opportunity to work autonomously in a unique and varied position. The Role: * Plan and control all highway/general civil engineering works

* Act as a representative for all highway engineering matters

* Identify the need for and develop parking and engineering policies

* Office based with occasional site visits

* Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week The Person: * Civil engineering degree / chartership

* Knowledge of civil engineering standards, practices and legislation

* Experience designing and implementing civil engineering projects from start to completion

* Experience managing and leading a team
