This world leading design and development organisation are seeking to strengthen their software team based in the vibrant city of Oslo. They urgently seek an Embedded Software Engineer - Wireless to help develop the next generation of their market leading embedded software used for wireless connectivity. The Embedded Software Engineer - Wireless will be responsible for the development of low level (embedded and bare metal) software for wireless communications systems including Bluetooth, BLE, WLAN and Wi-Fi that will be used in a variety of applications. The Embedded Software Engineer - Wireless will also be responsible for writing device drivers (embedded and bare metal), for the complete software development lifecycle and for release and delivery. You will have 3+ years post graduate experience developing embedded software under Linux or RTOS in C and C++. Your skills will include writing bare metal and embedded device drivers in C for real time applications including wireless connectivity. Preferably you will have experience of the complete software development lifecycle, system software development, including developing software in a resource restricted environment (power and memory) and some exposure to automated software test (Python).Exposure to Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, TCP/IP would be beneficial as would any knowledge of emerging IoT (Industry 4.0).
