Software Developer / Backend Engineer (Go Java Python C++) What does 'Tech for Good' mean to you?

This pioneering technology company is seeking an accomplished Software Developer with a wealth of experience in backend technologies to join their team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Golang, but the company will also consider skills in other OO languages such as C++, Java or Python (with Go).

In this Software Developer role you'll work on backend APIs, building new features and improving products and services and ensuring the high quality of software development at all stages of delivery is maintained.

You'll act as a technical pivot, bridging gaps between technical realities and business strategy through partnering with key individuals across the business including the Team Lead and relevant stakeholders to support development processes and ensure they align with business strategy.

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. You'll join London-based offices in due course, with some continued flexible work opportunities.*

Requirements:

*You have commercial Golang experience using OOP principles (C++, Java, Python or experience in other languages with some Go is considered)

*You have experience working with modern enterprise frameworks

*You have strong working knowledge of REST and RESTful API design

*You have experience working with microservices architecture

*You have PostgreSQL / SQL database experience

*You're an advocate of Agile practices and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
