Bid Writer/Coordinator

£35,000-£40,000 + Progression + 25 days Holidays + Pension + Company Benefits

On offer is the opportunity to join an industry leading Marine and Civil Engineering company and take the next step in your career.

This company specialise in marine and civil engineering and are a contractor across multiple sectors including energy and utilities. Having been established for over 40 years, they have become a market leader within their industry and are now looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic bid writer to join their already highly professional team.

In this role the successful candidate will play a big part in driving business forward by helping create professional and successful tenders. They will organise people in different stages of the tender, organise meetings and help put together marketing material. They will also liaise with different departments and will speak directly to clients in order to help write successful bids.

The successful candidate will be a great communicator and have good attention to details. They will also have previous experience in bid writing and preferably come from a writing background. It would also be advantageous to hold a bachelor's degree in a written discipline.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company which can offer you progression up to Bid Manager after one year for the right candidate. They also offer security and the chance to be a vital cog in this company's continued growth.

The role:

*Help drive business forwards by writing successful bids

*Liaise with and organise different departments to help put tenders together

*Speak to clients

*Occasional site visits

*Office based

The person:

*Prior experience bid writing

*Bachelor's degree (preferred)

*Previous experience within a writing profession would be advantageous
