Do you enjoy helping organisations to get the best out of modern business applications? Can you work across a diverse portfolio of those applications, including CRM, Housing property management, case management, gym management systems, expenses management and finance systems? Are you comfortable managing the needs and expectations of a wide variety of stakeholders, including suppliers, senior management and end users? Who we are: One YMCA, and its subsidiary the Early Childhood Partnership (ECP), provide a range of social housing, sports, health & wellbeing, children's services, youth work and community activities within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire for the benefit of local people and communities. With a turnover exceeding £15 million and over 400 staff and volunteers, we are committed to making a difference to the local area through the services we deliver and the partner organisations we work with.

Our Mission 25 project aims to double our impact by 2025, and you will play an instrumental part in enabling this. The Role:

We are entering a period of rapid expansion, with aspirations to both diversify and strengthen our service offerings in housing, family centres, nursery provision, community gyms, youth work, and specialist services for some of the most vulnerable people. To underpin this planned growth, we are now investing in strengthening our technology infrastructure, our user support provision and - particularly key to this role - our use of modern business applications to deliver streamlined processes, joined up integration with other systems, and actionable analytics to drive the organisation forward.

The Business Applications Support Manager role is key to getting the most from our investment in business applications. You will be expected to rapidly become conversant with a diverse portfolio of applications, including CRM, Housing property management, case management, gym management systems, expenses management and finance systems. You will then apply this knowledge to get the most value from these systems by working closely with the business to understand their application needs, and to scope and manage new and upgrade projects for line of business systems. You will also liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and keep abreast of product updates.

You may also be involved in general ICT projects, such as network infrastructure, cyber security and hardware procurement, but you will not be expected to be expert in these areas.

We are looking for someone with experience of a broad range of business applications, someone who is not afraid of change, someone who is comfortable working with staff at all levels of the organisation to implement and develop our applications portfolio for the benefit of our staff and, ultimately, our service users.

This is an exciting time to be joining One YMCA; we are embarking on an ambitious strategic plan - Mission 25 - to grow our business and double the impact we have across all areas of operation. If you feel you have the necessary skills, experience and passion to help us exploit opportunities to build a better digital technology offering, we would welcome your application.

When you apply, you will be asked to upload a CV and covering letter. Your CV should outline your relevant work experience and qualifications in detail. Your covering letter should explain why you believe you are a close match to this role, and why you feel this organisation is right for you.

Please note: We may interview suitable candidates before the closing date, so please do not delay in sending your application.
