The world has changed. You may have noticed.

You may have been thinking, how can I help? How will my career be affected by this?

Both of those questions can be answered with a career in an innovative medical device business who are building on their strengths in providing novel testing solutions, in order to develop systems for the detection and monitoring of COVID-19 and its antibodies.

They are a UK company headquartered in Scotland, with a global distribution network and already supplying COVID testing kits to the NHS and through their FDA-approved base in the US . This is an exciting time to join the company, who had rapidly grown from a start-up business 6 years ago to now having over 1100 employees worldwide. They are hiring for long-term growth across all departments and able to offer interesting and rewarding careers.

As an Equipment Engineer you will be involved in a wide range of engineering activities within a division responsible for prototype equipment, high-volume production equipment, packaging equipment, laboratory equipment and air handling systems among others.

As well as carrying out equipment projects work, you can also get involved in developing and implementing new engineering processes and procedures. This could include developing and optimising existing and new equipment approaches whether that be for R&D or Production activities. You will provide the lead on 2 to 3 medium to large-sized engineering projects from conception and design through to delivery and validation.

If you have experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and management of equipment through the entire life cycle then this role may be suitable for you. Ideally if you haven't worked in the medical device sector before then you should have experience in a similarly highly regulated industry. The ability to identify & resolve equipment issues with the use of a range of techniques will be very beneficial.

There are dozens of open positions with this company, so if this role is not quite right then please still apply and we may be able to match you with a more suitable position.

This role will provide a salary of £31,000 - £41,000 plus benefits.
