Infrastructure Team Leader

£50-60k + Life Cover, 23 days holiday - buy and sell options, Pension and more!

Bristol or London (Flexible working)

Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Team Leader to join and Manage a team of 5 Infrastructure Engineers. The Infrastructure team provide IT Services and support for 9 offices across the UK and a user base of circa 800. The main focus of this role will be centered around management of the team and management / delivery of projects. We are looking for a candidate who comes from a technical background; but is comfortable taking a step towards team management and Project / service delivery.

Responsibilities

*Support of the company infrastructure

*Ensure service availability meeting required SLA's

*Excellent people management

*Project Management

*Maintenance and provisioning of server infrastructure

*Core systems infrastructure management

*Management of Internal and external Data Centres

*Detailed system documentation

*Managing suppliers

Skills/Expertise

*Good communication at all levels

*Experienced in Customer services and proven technical ability

*Good analytical and problem solving skills

*Team management experience

*Experience of the following systems - Windows Server Platforms, including Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange Server, IIS, Sharepoint, Cloud / Azure, O365, Citrix.

*Good hardware technical skills

This role may suit candidates who have held positions such as - Windows Server Team Lead, Infrastructure Team Lead, Senior Systems Support Leader, Infrastructure Manager, Systems Support Manager. Experience of working within a financial services environment will be helpful but is not a pre-requisite.
